Hickam AFBApproved/Official PO: An approved PO means that your organization has been approved by the 15th Mission Support Group Commander or Deputy Commander (15 MSG/CC or 15 MSG/CD) via 15 SVS and the legal office and abides by strict reporting requirements as outlined in the AFI 34-223 and AFI 34-223 15 AW Supplement. Fund-raising requests are approved by 15 SVS.
Unofficial Activities/Organizations: Are small groups of individuals, which are stationed on Hickam AFB and are not required to be formally established as a Private Organization (PO) because their assets do not exceed a monthly average of $1,00 over a 3-month period. (e.g.: coffee funds, flower funds, sunshine funds and other small non-resale operations
Local External PO or Activity: External POs are not located on Hickam AFB, they do not operate on Hickam AFB, and are not recognized as an approved PO. Fund-raising requests (except car washes) are approved by 15 MSG. External POs must request to be put on a car wash stand-by list in order to get a date for a car wash on Hickam AFB.
